…telling people that you are using hypnosis). This is where you might want to complement your mastery of the basics with some NLP books such as the one given by an other commenter (or Steven Heller's "Monsters and Magical Sticks"). Note that a lot of NLP is not evidence based but you are fine if you keep with the founder's work on hypnosis. (fun fact, I got started in hypnosis with some hypnotherapy books)

…I can recommend what's called Neurolinguistic Programming. It's pretty much an OS for the mind. Specifically, I can recommend two books on hypnosis: "TRANCE-Formations" by Bandler and Grinder, and "Monsters and Magical Sticks" by Steven Heller. For "higher" states of consciousness there is actually a simple and effective algorithm called "Core Transformation Process" It's taught by these folks: https://www.coretransformation.org/…

"Book of the Subgenius" (various authors) but I don't recommend it. It's not for everyone. Learn (self-)hypnosis. "TRANCE-formations" by Bandler and Grinder (and Bandler's other books as well) and "Monsters and Magical Sticks: There's No Such Thing as Hypnosis?" by Steven Heller. Robert Anton Wilson's books are pretty good too. Also "Angel Tech: A Modern Shaman's Guide to Reality Selection" by Antero Alli.

A couple of books: "TRANCE-formations" by Bandler and Grinder, and "Monsters and Magical Sticks" by Steven Heller, both are written for the therapeutic context but the material is universal.

In re: hypnosis in general the books I recommend are: "TRANCE-formations" by Bandler and Grinder, and "Monsters and Magical Sticks: There's No Such Thing as Hypnosis?" by Heller. For specifically improving "cognitive enhancement" the easiest, safest, and most far-reaching technique involves modifying your self-image. You can reprogram…

"Ah, I see you're a man of culture as well." :-) Yes, that's from "TRANCE-formations" by Bandler and Grinder. And, yeah, for my money, Heller's "Monsters and Magical Sticks: There's No Such Thing as Hypnosis?" is the other best book on the subject. Well met.
