Homer’s immortal epic poem is my most popular graphic novel. It retells the complete story of Odysseus’ adventures in 250 pages of fully-painted art. The text is my own adaptation, based on several different translations. As with all of my adaptations, it remains extremely faithful to the original text.

My kids loved reading the graphic novel version of The Odyssey by Gareth Hinds. They continue to read it once a month or so.
on “The Odyssey – Alexander Pope translation (1725)” ↗I knew of Emily Wilson and her credentials when I wrote my comment. For what it’s worth, I think there’s a case to be made that Gareth Hinds‘ adaptation of The Odyssey was just as much of an influence.
