…this way without getting caught. People do abuse this all the time, look for the bad check writer program in your county. It's not switching over to ACH, that's how it has worked all along. I recommend Catch Me if you Can by Frank Abagnale.

The book is also really good (didn't actually watch the movie) http://www.amazon.com/Catch-Me-If-You-Can/dp/0767905385 I also enjoyed Kevin Mitnick's book The Art of Deception, also on "Social Engineering"/con artists. http://www.amazon.com/Art-Deception-Controlling-Element-Secu...

The book by Frank Abagnale is a pageturner too. I've always liked reading those "social hacking" books, like Catch Me If You Can, or Kevin Mitnick's story The Art of Deception.

Here's the best books that I've read in the past few months: > Catch Me If You Can by Frank Abagnale I remember disliking the movie, but the book is brilliant and hilarious. Autobiography of one of the boldest, horniest, and most brilliant con artists. > Ghost In The Wires by Kevin…

Abagnale says himself that "Catch Me If You Can" is mostly fiction: > I was interviewed by the co-writer only about four times. I believe he did a great job of telling the story, but he also over dramatized and exaggerated some of the story. That…

I always thought stories like "Clark Rockefeller" [0] or Frank Abagnale (of Catch Me If You Can) would become more or less extinct in the era of Internet and Google. Maybe such scams have become easier to perpetuate, whatwith the ability to fake your lifestyle and credentials with social media (and…

…also believe your conviction could be turned into your strong asset - you already have a unique and genuine story to tell I so love this. It reminds me of Frank Abagnale, Jr., whose story is told in “Catch me if you can“. He went from convicted felon to savior of the banking industry and implemented a ton of solutions to the very things he exploited. > you could get a speaker slot any any AML|Legal + tech related conference.…

It was Sweden (with a similar system to Norway) where Frank Abagnale[1] (Catch Me If You Can) spent some time and spoke highly of the penal system of the Scandinavian countries. I think he mentioned they were paid a fair wage, able to take real college courses (not just correspondence) and made…

Reminds me of Frank Abagnale, Jr. ('Catch me if you can') who despite making up the story of his life is actually a security consultant and has made millions out of his 'life story' https://whyy.org/segments/the-greatest-hoax-on-earth/

…Robert Kerbeck’s true crime memoir, RUSE: Lying the American Dream from Hollywood to Wall Street is the story of how a wannabe actor became the world’s greatest corporate spy. Frank Abagnale, author of Catch Me If You Can, said, “Kerbeck has mastered the art of social engineering, or what he calls 'rusing', and taken it to a whole new level,” Frank Abagnale is now believed to have lied about most of the cons he supposedly…
