I would recommend David Bohm's "Wholeness and the implicate order." And Bohm in general: this guy was stripped from his US citizenship during the McC hysteria.

on “Ask HN: Books that altered your view of reality” ↗I find the comparison puzzling and inspiring. Reminds me of Bohm's "Wholeness and the implicate order", "Unfolding meaning" etc. Or even of Chomsky's deep structure. I also can't help but feeling a sort of odd familarity with the idea of decoherence.
on “Origami and Programming” ↗I can't recommend 'On Dialogue' [0] enough. I try to always keep a few copies around to give away. 'Wholeness and the Implicate Order' is also great.
