It’s not often I come across someone familiar with Islington. I also highly recommend his books, The Will of the Many is my favorite read this year. I keep hearing good things about Cradle, I’ll have to give that a read.
on “Ask HN: Any interesting books you have read lately?” ↗I tend to steer towards Fantasy & Sci-fi. [0]: The Will of the Many: A fun take on the genre. You get magic, academia, mystery, etc [1]: Jade City: My favorite series I've read in the last year or so. Super bummed it's over. Highly recommend. on “Ask HN: Books you read in 2023 and recommend for 2024” ↗Always found some interesting reads like this. Looking to add to my tbr to hit my yearly goal. I just finished the three body problem, found it fantastic. I'm most of the way through 'The will of the many', and I'm finding it amazing - one of the best fantasies I've read in a while.
on “Ask HN: What are you reading Feb 2024” ↗The Will of the Many. An epic high fantasy adventure. I’m just about to finish the second book in the series - The Strength of a Few. I haven’t gasped this many times reading a book in a long time.
on “Ask HN: What did you read in 2025?” ↗The Will of the Many. I’m about to start Red Rising series as it’s similar to it.
