This book is not only an analysis of demographic and political realities in Europe, but also an eyewitness account of a continent in self-destruct mode. It includes reporting from across the entire continent, from the places where migrants land to the places they end up, from the people who appear to welcome them in to the places which cannot accept them.

…think were sound, but there was also a ton of interesting and good material in them; which I think made some good points. Based on that, I guess my recommendations for breaking bubbles would be: "The Strange Death of Europe" (Murray, Davies, et al.) "The War Against Boys" (Sommers) "The Fountainhead" (Ryand)

Since your German I'd urge you to read the book Strange Death of Europe. Assimilation isn't an easy process and mass migration in this scale is indeed a new thing.
on “VW plans to sell electric Tesla rival for less than $23K: source” ↗Why is he a racist and/or xenophobe? If you mean because he's criticising Islam, then I believe you are wrong. I read his book "The strange death of Europe: immigration, identity, Islam" and found it to be balanced, copiously referenced and frankly very scary. There is currently no other group of people on this planet that I know of that is hunting down…

…of these articles and we can do without this neurotic melancholic whining. Maybe it is the title of the article that triggered me, but it reminded me of hearing Douglas Murray read excerpts from "The Strange Death of Europe" in his self-aggrandising pompous tone. The authors colleague needed a couple of tries to write a kernel extension and somehow this means something about programming. If it was not for LLMs I would not…

Have you read The Strange Death of Europe? It doesn't matter though. In that fine people video, even when people were presenting with the reality from the carefully selected video clips they had heard about, they still wouldn't accept it. The…
on “Biden wins White House, vowing new direction for divided U.S.” ↗…people today see "Free speech" as a bad thing, how people say words == violence (they don't, violence is violence, and saying words are violence show you're afraid of ideas). I've also been reading The Strange Death of Europe, which talks a lot about migration and religious hate speech. Honestly a lot of the book is garbage and I didn't like any of the initial arguments, but I also realize it's important to read about viewpoints…
