Read "The Little Kingdom" by Michael Moritz. While it is not only about Steve, it does talk about him quite a bit. It is a great read.
on “New biography of Steve Jobs comes out March 2012” ↗Good luck to Mr Moritz. The Little Kingdom is one of my favorite books about Apple and remains a classic.

On Jobs's urging the pair turned a pastime into a small business and began selling the devices. "He wanted money," Wozniak said of his partner.' on “Jobs made Apple great by ignoring profit” ↗What's a good book to read about the early days of Apple? on “The Apple II Age” ↗they even included a guarantee with each one they sold. quoted in Return to Little Kingdom: "The demonstrations provoked curiosity and Jobs and Wozniak made cassette tapes of tones that friends would need to call their favorite long-distance numbers. Jobs arranged a supply of about $40 worth…
on “Steve Jobs Interview about the Blue Box Story ” ↗Sounds like Jobs and Wozniak...? Although, re-reading "The Little Kingdom" seems to present a slightly more complex case.
on “Ask PG/HN: Founder Combination” ↗There's a folklore.org article about the book: https://www.folklore.org/The_Little_Kingdom.html Edit Looking at the Little Kingdom book, it is about the development of the Mac, not the Apple I and II days.
