The Baby Owner's Manual: Operating Instructions, Trouble-Shooting Tips, and Advice on First-Year Maintenance (Owner's and Instruction Manual) https://a.co/d/0EgVdnN It's quick, to the point, and good value for new dads.
on “Ask HN: Best Resources and Books for a Soon-to-Be-Dad?” ↗I like that book, too. There were two others that we thought were helpful: "The Baby Owner's Manual: Operating Instructions, Trouble-Shooting Tips, and Advice on First-Year Maintenance" which is just an overall guide to everyday things you have to do (and it's pretty funny.) "Precious Little Sleep" on improving our sleep situation.
on “Ask HN: How did you prepare for being a first-time parent?” ↗I just bought the book The Baby Owner's Manual [0] since I'll be in your position in ~6 months. I haven't read it yet but it got decent reviews. Curious to hear input from others. [0] https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/1594745978/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b...
