on “Ask HN: Best books you read in the past decade?” ↗Chronologically starting with children's: Swallows and Amazon series. Stranger in a Strange Land, The Man In The Maze, Tau Zero, Asimovs Foundation series. All Jane Austen's work: Pride and Prejudice, Sense and Sensibility, Persuasion, Mansfield Park, Emma, and Northhanger Abbey.

Just like how the fad a decade or so ago of taking Tolstoy and Jane Austen works and adding new elements -- "Android Karenina" and "Sense and Sensibility and Sea Monsters" are copyrighted works even if the majority of the text in them was from public domain sources.

Nesbit, among other titles, and is as good as any professional voice actor: - 'Pride and Prejudice' (Austen) - 'Sense and Sensibility' (Austen) - 'The Story of the Treasure Seekers' (Nesbit) - 'The Railway Children' (Nesbit) - many others (says 141 total matches) http://www.karenrsavage.com/blog/

on “WhisperSpeech – An open source text-to-speech system built by inverting Whisper” ↗I have problem following characters and their relationships while reading books. So I created Austen while I was reading "Sense and Sensibility" by Jane Austen in order to figure out how are characters connected to each other. https://github.com/herol3oy/austen
on “Show HN: Austen – Discover Story Relationships” ↗Made a little "lofi"/classical reading room for my wife to binge Jane Austen before the Sense & Sensibility and Pride & Prejudice releases. The rooms are based off the original text. 18 rooms from 6 novels. Music for each room, many mentioned in the book.
