Throughout the summer holidays after his first year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, Harry Potter has been receiving sinister warnings from a house-elf called Dobby. Now, back at school to start his second year, Harry hears unintelligible whispers echoing through the corridors. Before long the attacks begin: students are found as if turned to stone. Dobby’s predictions seem to be coming true. [Source][1] [1]: https://www.jkrowling.com/book/harry-potter-chamber-secrets/

on “Ask HN: Which book are you reading?” ↗Cool visualization, but the model needs work. The closest book to "Harry Potter and The Chamber of Secrets" is "The Victorian Lady's Guide to Sex, Marriage, and Manners".
on “A Visual Book Recommender” ↗Super side note - I'm rereading Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets (2nd one in series) for fun right now, and this guys sounds exactly like Gilderoy Lockhart.
on “Writing a book: is it worth it?” ↗…Potter when he was hanging outside a window, helpless. Then, his buddy appears with a flying car to rescue him. Hmmm. When exactly does that happen? Are you referring to the very start of chapter 3 in Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets? Because Harry most definitely is not hanging out of a window before his friends arrive. He is kept locked up by his aunt and uncle. Because of that he is not answering his friend's letters. His friend…

If I ask my TI-89 to "Summarize the plot in Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets" it responds "ERR"! :D LLMs are good text processors, pocket calculators are good number processors. Both have limitations, and neither are good at problem sets that are outside of their design strengths.…
