on “The medieval habit of ‘two sleeps’” ↗I just read (by audiobook) two great fiction works by Colson Whitehead that include some of these ideas, Crook Manifesto then is prequel Harlem Shuffle. Great stuff.
on “Carpenter's AirTags help uncover 'massive' case of stolen tools in Maryland” ↗Colson Whitehead’s novel “Harlem Shuffle” takes place partially on Radio Row pre-WTC.
on “A Midcentury Map of New York, Packed with Weird Local Lore (2019)” ↗Referred to as "dorvay" in the novel, Harlem Shuffle. I can see certain productivity wonks on HN getting into this ;)
on “Can medieval sleeping habits fix America’s insomnia?” ↗…recommendations to friends from my "Read" shelf, etc. :) Btw, I was curious to see how it looked when it works. I hope you're not planning to borrow "The Great Believers", "Watchmen", "The Paper Palace" or "Harlem Shuffle" from the New York Public Library[0] !
