David Ruelle elegantly discusses similar ideas in a great nontechnical book called Chance and Chaos (1995). Worth reading.
on “Quantum Entanglement Drives the Arrow of Time” ↗The best writing on economics I have ever read is in the book Chance and Chaos by David Ruelle. Ruelle gives some thoughts on economics but ultimately concludes something like "we don't currently have the tools needed to properly study this subject".
on “The coming long-run slowdown in corporate profit growth and stock returns [pdf] (2023)” ↗…be inspiration to try to grasp these ideas again. Rotating the Lorenz makes me think otherwise though because given the amount of time I put into this, I should understand that much more than I do. Chance and Chaos by David Ruelle is a wonderful little book.
